About Koracle
In this article
Your skin is not confusing. The market is. Koracle exists to make K-beauty feel easier to choose, with routines built from your skin profile instead of brand hype.
Koracle checks fit first: your skin, the formula, the evidence, texture, and routine conflicts. A product only gets recommended when those pieces line up.
What we do
Koracle builds a K-beauty routine from a 2-minute quiz about your skin type, concerns, and active history. The catalog covers 279 products across cleansers, toners, essences, serums, moisturizers, and sunscreens. Each pick has to fit your skin, not a trend cycle.
Why we exist
Most skincare quizzes are built to move you toward a brand. The result can look personal, but it often leaves out the formula details that decide whether your skin will actually like the product.
Koracle checks formulas against your skin profile. Evidence tiers show how much research sits behind each active ingredient. Texture checks keep heavy products away from skin that needs lighter layers. A product only shows up if it earns its place.
How products are chosen
The catalog is reviewed by hand. There are no auto-imports from brand feeds. Each product is scored by concern match, evidence tier, texture fit, and experience fit. Stronger actives are held back until your answers show your skin can handle them.

Editorial independence
No sponsored placements. No paid ranking boosts. No brand gets to buy a spot in your routine. Koracle may earn through affiliate links when you click through and make a purchase, but brands still do not get a say in what ranks.
Affiliate partners
Koracle promotes retailers as an affiliate publisher, not as a store. Product links appear in routine results, the product catalogue, routine guides, blog posts, and product cards. Readers click through to the retailer to buy.
Koracle does not publish coupon codes, run brand-bidding ads, work as a cashback site, or sell inventory. Recommendations stay editorial. Affiliate links only affect where you buy, not what gets recommended.
Who builds it
This is a solo project built by Ryan. Not a company, not a team. Just someone who got tired of skincare quizzes that made every product sound right for everyone.
