What We Do

Koracle gives you a personalized K-beauty skincare routine based on a 2-minute quiz about your skin type, concerns, and experience level. The product catalog covers 240+ items — cleansers, toners, essences, serums, moisturizers, sunscreens — all scored against clinical research for your specific concerns.

Why We Exist

Most skincare quizzes are lead generation for brands that paid to be featured. The recommendations aren’t for your skin — they’re for whoever signed the sponsorship deal.

Koracle works differently. Every product recommendation is driven by how well the product’s ingredients address your actual concerns. Evidence tiers — Proven, Studied, Emerging, Traditional — reflect the depth of clinical literature behind each active ingredient. A product only shows up in your routine if it earns its place.

How Products Are Chosen

The catalog is hand-curated — no auto-imports from brand feeds. Each product is scored across four dimensions: how well its ingredients target your primary and secondary concerns, evidence tier of the hero ingredient, texture compatibility with your skin type, and experience-level fit (some actives are gated until you’ve built a baseline routine).

Editorial Independence

No brand partnerships. No sponsored placements. No one pays to appear in a routine. The only revenue source is Amazon Associates commissions when you click through and make a purchase — and that commission is the same regardless of which product you pick.

Who Builds It

This is a solo project built by Ryan. Not a company, not a team. Just someone who got tired of bad skincare recommendations and decided to build something better.
